Love or hate the summer school holidays, your little angels (or terrors) can really throw your daily schedule out of whack, leaving you with little time to think about or do anything for yourself.

But school’s back now and it’s time to shift your focus to yourself.

If 2020 taught us anything, it’s that your health is the most important thing you have to look after. Just like they instruct on the airplanes, you need to ‘fit your mask first’, be healthy and happy yourself, so you can take care of others and teach them great habits for a healthy, happy life.

Making the decision to bring physical fitness into your day-to-day activities not only has a positive effect on your physical body, but also improves your mental health and will give you more energy to take part in all aspects of life rather than watching it pass by from the side-lines.

When you make the decision to prioritise your health by joining Roar Fitness, you will become a part of our family. A member in a group of others who have similar goals and who all have access to some of the best trainers and equipment available in Perth.

With onsite Creche available at three of our locations (Bibra Lake, Cockburn & Canning Vale) even if you still have the kids at home, hitting the gym for an hour and popping them into creche will give you some down time, time to focus on yourself, speak to other adults and get out of the house.

You will be amazed at how great it feels to have endorphins speeding around your body from physical movement, giving you the up and go to get through the day.

If your kids are too old for creche, you could enrol them into one of the Kids programs available at Roar Fitness. Then you can either train with them, strengthening your bond through shared experiences, or train elsewhere within the gym, while our team runs their class keeping them busy.

Walking into a gym for the first time is intimidating…. but it’s not just you that feels that way, almost EVERYONE is a little nervous in the beginning, but once you’ve visited once or twice you will get to know our friendly staff and familiar faces of others training around you, especially if you enjoy group fitness classes or small group personal training where you get the chance to work on friendships as well as your fitness.

So what’s it going to be for 2021?

Another year of ‘I just don’t have time’ or a year where your health takes priority?

No one’s saying the first week isn’t going to be tough.. it is.

You will be sore, tired and stiff….BUT…

Once you get past that initial week, you will start having fun, feeling fitter, more confident and be ready to take control of your life and make it everything you want it to be.

The choice is yours…..

Will we see you at Roar Fitness this month?
